Case heard before – Capt. Sutcliffe chairman – Rev. T. Sutcliffe, John Fielden, Abraham Ormerod, and Geo. Hinchcliffe Esqrs at Todmorden Sessions.

Having employed a young person for some months without having previously registered his name and the date of the first day of his employment in the register for young persons.

Penalty of £3 and costs of 11s.6d.
