August 10, 1874I am pained to announce the death of Daniel S. Bork who died at his home near Lee Line last Saturday of typhoid fever. Mr. Bork had lived in Lee for almost 60 years, his father, Peter Bork, being one of our first settlers moving into town about 1815. In his death Lee loses one of her prominent citizens and an honest man. To his friends his loss is irreparable.
