Anne H. Armstrong, 90, of Taberg, died peacefully at home on November 2, 2008. She was born October 14, 1918 in Etna, PA, the daughter of Charles and Pauline Sekock Hubal. She was educated in Rome schools. On July 8, 1940 she married Ellsworth Armstrong in Rome. He died December 15, 1971. Anne worked at Varflex Corporation for 50 years, retiring in 2005.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Ralph Maio of Denver, PA, a son and daughter-in-law, William and Bonnie Armstrong of Taberg, a sister, Stella Beer of Rome, five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Puchyr, three brothers, Charles, Peter and John Hubal, and a great-granddaughter, Angelina Rose Maio.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Maple Hill Cemetery.
