Betty Brown Dies of Prolonged Illness
Betty Jeannine Brown, 14, died on the morning of March 6 at her home in Sylvan Beach, town of Vienna, succumbing after several years of failing health.
A daughter of Orville A. and Mina McClanathan Brown, Betty was born in Oneida, Nov. 5, 1930. She was a member of the Vienna Methodist Church.
Surviving besides her parents are a grandmother, Mrs. Nettie McClanathan at home; also sisters and brothers including Mrs. Warren Janes of Lee Center, Mrs. Kenneth Armstrong, at home; Mrs. Edwin Snow, Sherrill; Albert, U.S. Navy; Nettie M. Brown, Francis O.., Wilda M., Janet M., Lee Earl and Don K., all at home.
Funeral services were conducted at the late home on Friday at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Charles Kincaid of North Bay as officiating clergyman, and burial was made in North Bay Cemetery with arrangements in charge of B.A. Sanborn and Son.
