David A. Brown, 88, of 516 Cleveland Ave., a laborer for the Town of Vienna for many years, and an employee of Brown Campgrounds, Fish Creek Landing, died Wednesday, March 21, 1984, in the Hallmark Nursing Centre, Minoa, after a long illness. Born in Fish Creek Landing on May 1, 1895, he was the son of Albert and Dora Mansfield Brown. He married Elvira M.Mott on Aug. 26, 1915, at the Mott homestead in Vienna. Mrs. Brown died Sept. 2, 1976. Mr. Brown was a member of the Vienna Methodist Church. He had resided in Oneida since 1976. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Louise Brown and Miss Marjorie Brown, both of Oneida, a sister, Mrs. Frances Loomis, Rome, three grandsons and four great-grandchildren. A son, J. Silas Brown, died in 1974. Burial in McConnellsville Cemetery.
