January 16, 1986Camden - Mrs. Marjorie A. Clark, 76, of Third Street, a former Camden Central School District elementary teacher, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1986 in Rome Hospital.
Born in North Bay on April 9, 1909, she was the daughter of Earl and Nellie Brown Kent.
She graduated from Camden High School, Oswego Normal and Oswego State.
She married R. Floyd Clark in Oriskany Falls on August 25, 1933.
She was an elementary school teacher with the Ilion Central School, the Camden Central School District and other area schools for over 35 years.
She was a member of the Camden United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the New York State Retired Teachers Association.
Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Anne LePomto, Camden, two sisters, Mrs. Wallace (Arlene) Wolcott and Mrs. Charles (Betty) Hess, both of Camden, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at the Sanborn-McDaniels and LaRobardiere Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
