Westmoreland - Peter C. Hubal Jr., 64, of Bartlett Road, died Friday, March 19, 2004, at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Utica on December 26, 1939, the son of Peter C. and Eleanor Hicks Hubal Sr. Peter grew up in Westmoreland and was a graduate of the class of 1959. On October 10, 1992, he married Charlotte Kessler at the Bartlett Baptist Church. Peter built silos with Madison Silo for 17 years and worked at ROme Research Corporation as the rigging supervisor for 19 years. He was a member of the Bartlett Baptist Church where he was on the church board of trustees. he was an avid bowler for many years. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and camping. Peter's most cherished memories were those spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, three sons, five daughters, and their spouses, Shelley and Jim Kinney of Clark Mills, Lawrence and Melinda Hubal of Forestport, Rebecca and Jim McConnell of Clinton, RObert and Ludean Hubal of Clark Mills, Katrina and Joe Bach of Clark Mills, Brandy Jimerson and fiance, Rich Eaton, of Vernon, Lance and Peggy Coleman of ELmira and Audrey Bradley of Stittville, sixteen cherished grandchildren, Danielle and Emily Kinney, Amy Wuest and fiance Jamey Charron, Tara and Brandon Hubal, Amber, John and Kimberly McConnell, Robbie Hubal and Trevor Wenthold, Joey, Tyler and Bailey Bach, Markalynn Easton and Cody and Dillon Bradley, a great-grandson, Jaylen Charron, his mother, Eleanor Hubal of Westmoreland, a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Raymond Loomis of Westernville, mother-in-law, Dorothy Kessler of Oriskany and several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Peter C. Hubal Sr.

A private burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Westmoreland.
