Kent, Harold LaRue

August 20, 1979Camden - H. LaRue Kent, 69, of 7 Voorhees Ave., a self-employed accountant, died Saturday, August 18, 1979, at home after a long illness.
Born June 2, 1910, in Canastota, he was the son of Earl and Nellie Brown Kent and was a graduate of Camden High School and Rider College, Trenton, NJ.
Mr. Kent was a member of the United Methodist Church and was one of the first teletype operators for the United States following his graduation.
He was a World War II veteran, having served with the Army. On September 1, 1945, he was married to Margaret Mayhill. She is deceased.
Surviving besides his mother of Rome are three sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Marjorie) Clark and Mrs. Wallace (Arlene) Wolcott, both of Camden, and Mrs. Charles (Betty) Hess, Myrtle Beach, SC.
Private funeral services will be held at the E. H. McDaniels Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
