Ruth K. Leffert, 93, formerly of South Crescent Drive, Rome, died June 23, 1993 in Rome Hospital.

She was born May 13, 1900 in Rome, a daughter of Frederick W. and Ruby G. Willson Cummings. She graduated from Rome Free Academy. On June 2, 1921 she married Charles M. Leffert in the First Methodist Church. He died April 28, 1971. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Rome, and a former member of the Rome VFW Auxiliary.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Shirley A. Murphy, Rome, two sons, John J. Leffert, Star Lake, NY, and Charles M. Leffert Jr., Rome, NY, a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Wood, Largo, FL, 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Saturday. Interment in Rome Cemetery.
