Mansfield, Martha Hitchings Harrig

Mrs. Martha E. Mansfield, 78, of 115 E. Liberty Street, died early this morning in the Rome Hospital, where she had been a patient two weeks.

She was born in Rome, daughter of the late Edward and Alzina Perry Hitchings and had always lived here. Her first husband, Michael E. Harrig, died 33 years ago. Twenty-nine years ago she was married to Milo H. Mansfield, who died 17 years ago.

Mrs. Mansfield was a member of the First M. E. Church.

Surviving are five daughters, Miss Bessie Harrig, New York City, Mrs. Henry Delpho and Mrs. William J. Dixon, Utica, Mrs. Byron Wade and Mrs. Charles Perry, Rome, one son, Olin E. Harrig, New York City, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
