The death of Nettie M., wife of Frank A. Mansfield, occurred from tuberculosis at her home, 806 Armstrong Avenue, at 11 am today. Last December Mrs. Mansfield was taken ill in Camden, NJ, where she removed from this city and where her husband was employed, and in the spring came to Rome. She was born in Rome on Sept 12, 1879, and was a daughter of Catherine and the late Cyrus Carpenter. Practically all her life had been spent here. On August 30, 1899, in this city, she was married to Mr. Mansfield, who survives, with two children, Myrtle and Nellie Mansfield. She also leavers her mother, Mrs. Catherine Carpenter, and one brother, Cyrus W. Carpenter. Mrs. Mansfield was a member of St. Mary's Church. She was a young woman of many good qualities and the news of her death will be received by her many friends with feelings of regret. To the bereaved husband and members of the family will be extended sincerest sympathy.
