Mott. Linley E.

Friends here were sorry to learn of the death of Linley E. Mott, N. Y. Central RR Agent for about 30 years. Mr.Mott passed away Thursday in Memorial Hospital, Syracuse, after undergoing an operation two weeks ago Thursday. He was born in Pine Plains August 7, 1880.

Mr. Mott was the son of the late Harvey H. & F. Macham Mott. He was a member of the Pulaski Lodge 415 F & AM, Altmar, ME Church and the Order of Railroad Telegraphers. Surviving are a son, Harris, one daughter, Mrs. Oliver Crook of Syracuse and five brothers. Mrs. Mott passed away last October. Mr. Mott was a devoted husband and father and well liked by all. His many friends here will mourn his passing and sympathize with the bereaved family.

Funeral services were held at the home Sunday. Burial was at McConnellsville.
