O'Dell, Alice Armstrong

Westmoreland - Alice A. O'Dell, 90, of State Route 233, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday October 31, 2004 with her family by her side. She was born April 6, 1914 in Annsville, a daughter of Benjamin and Alice Mansfield Armstrong, and was educated in Annsville and Rome Schools.

Alice was united in marriage to Samuel O'Dell in June 1931 in Rome. he passed away on November 1, 1977. She retired in 1976 from Oneida Limited after 30 years of employment. She was of the Methodist faith.

Alice was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be deeply missed by her family.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Gordon Sprague, Westmoreland, five grandchildren, Jeffery, Jamie, and Melissa Sprague, Lori and Susan Meacham; two great-grandchildren, Heather and Cory Sprague, a son-in-law, Richard Meacham, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Ruth Meacham, five sisters and five brothers.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
