Camden - Mrs. Leonard Dean, 72, of River Road, Camden, died Sunday in the Queen Village Home for the Aged after a long illness. The former Golda Potter, she was born in Redfield on May 18, 1903, daughter of Isaac and Evelyn Warren Potter. She was educated in Redfield area schools and at the Pulaski Teachers Training School. She formerly taught in Panther Lake and Oswego area schools. She was married in Jordan on June 30, 1926. Mr. Dean died Nov. 11, 1971. Mrs. Dean was a member of the Redfield Community Church and the Osceola Grange. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Marilyn) Roser of Camden, a sister, Lucy Wallace of Wolcott, two brothers, Simeon Potter of Richland, and John Potter of Camden, and a grandson, Randy Skinner of Camden. The funeral will be at 2 pm Tuesday at the McDaniels Funeral Home with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Camden - Leonard Ralph Dean, 77, River Road, died this morning at his home. A native of Redfield he was born Sept. 5, 1894, son of Richard and Eleanor Walters Dean, and was educated in North Osceola area schools. He married the former Golda Potter in Jordan, NY June 30, 1926. The Rev. Franklin G. Webster officiated. Mr. Dean was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the Osceola Grange. Mr. Dean owned and operated his own farm in Redfield for a time, moving to Camden in 1956 where he worked at the Harvale Farms until 1965 at which time he worked at the Stone Hege Farm until 1970 when he retired. Surviving besides his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Skinner, Camden, one grandchild, two brothers, Stanley, Redfield and Ronald, Oneida Valley, and one sister, Mrs. Steven Zbytniewski, West Branch. The funeral will be at 1:30 Sunday at the E. H. McDaniels Funeral Home, Camden, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden.
