FORMER COUNTIAN DIES IN TULSA; RITES HELD HERE 2/4/1865
C.J. (Peck) Rice, a former Marshall County resident died Friday in a Tulsa hospital.
He was born in Lona [Lono], Ark., November 10, 1898, and worked as an auto mechanic. He had lived in Tulsa 40 years.
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon from Madill Church of Christ with Grady Cooper, Kingston minister, officaiating. He was assisted by M.A. Robinson.
Survivors include the widow, Olene; a son, Ray of Tulsa; a brother Burce Rice of Little City, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. [Burial was in Cumberland Cemetery] |
