Arabis Class Fleet Sweeping Sloop.

Built 1915 by Richardson Duck, Clydebank.

Completed 5th February 1916.

Engines by Blair of Stockton; 1 x 4Cyl triple expansion engine.

2,000 ihp; single screw; 16.5 knots

2 x cylindrical boilers. Cover 2,000 Nmiles.

Armament   1 x 4ins , 2 x 2pdr pom-pom guns.

Crew  80-90.

Triple hulls at the bows.

Fleet target work and Fishery protection.

HMS PARTRIDGE (1915) 1916-1917

M Class Destroyer - subclass Admiralty.

Built 1915 by Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson.

4th March 1916 Launched.

1,016 tons; 271ft x 26ft x 8 7ft ; 25,000 shp; 34 knots;

3 funnels, Parsons Turbine engines, 3 Yarrow boilers; 3 screws.

Armament  3 x 4 ins, 1 x 2 pdr pom-pom, 1 MG: TT 4 x 21 ins in pairs

Built 1915 by  Beardmore Shipyard.
