The Valdivia of Bristol, Master Roach, ON7042
Sailed from Old Calabar for Falmouth with palm nut
kernels on or before 26th November last,
and has not since been heard of.
Lloyds List - 28 May 1884 - Wreck report from
Youghall, 27 May
Ship’s lifeboat marked “Valdivia Bristol” was picked
up this morning, 30 miles SSW of Ballycotton,
by fishing cutter St Patrick of Arklow.
