22nd November 1890 Reported from Cardiff: steamer PARA from Cardiff to Swansea collided with steamer EDEN

in Barry Roads; latter badly damaged. Both steamers dock Barry tonight for repairs.

25 Nov reported from Penarth: PARA, Master Luke, arrived 24th, put back. Para has four plates broken just abaft amidships, and three plates pierced under quarter, having rammed on EDEN’s stem; all damage on port side;

now on Penarth slipway repairing.

Treneglos, British steamer, from Cardiff, cargo coal, proceeding to Venice from Mulamocco,

grounded in Channel Della Grazia, got off without assistance from tugs. Has sustained no apparent damage.

Was aground about 8 hours.
