“William Gayer Michell was Mate in Hain's Trekieve
in 1904 on a voyage to the Black Sea.
Homeward bound the Master, my Grandfather,
took ill and was put ashore at Malta where he died.
Michell became the Master to complete the voyage to
London and Cardiff.
His certificate number was 032257 ”
