Seefeldt
Mrs. Walter (Martha) A. Seefeldt, 82, 308 Bryan St., died Thursday morning at
home. The former Martha Alvina Krutz, daughter of the late Adolph and Mary
Behnke Krutz was born June 2.3, 1897 in the Town of Grover, Marinette County.
Mrs. Seefeldt lived in Green Bay for the past 58 years. She married Walter J.
Seefeldt on April 8,' 1920. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Francis (Audrey) Jones, Green Bay; one daughter
and son-in-law, John and Beverly Suchomel, Crandon; two sons and
daughters-in-law, Gordon and Ruby Seefeldt, Ralph and Clara Seefeldt, all of
Green Bay; four grand- children; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers,
Walter Krutz, De Pere, Ernst Krutz, Suamico, William Krutz, Coleman, Harold
Krutz, De Pere; two sisters, Mrs. George (Elsie) Gerrits and Vera Krutz, both of
Green Bay; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter,
in 1971; one brother, Leo, in 1979; and an infant brother.
Friends may call at Schauer and Schumacher East Side Funeral Home after 2 p.m.
today; and from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday and after 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace
Lutheran Church. The funeral will be 3:30 p.m, Saturday at the church with the
Rev. Dean Kitgust officiating. Burial will be in Nicolet Memorial Garden
Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
Hansen
Peter H. Hansen, 89, Woodside Drive, died Wednesday evening. Mr. Hansen was born
May 6, 1890 in Cooperstown to the late Antone and Lena Hansen. Prior to his
retirement, he was employed as a carpenter-foreman for the J. C. Basten
Construction Co. Mr. Hansen was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the Men's
Brotherhood of the Church and was past-president of the Carpenters Union No.
1146. He also served on the board of directors of the Carpenters Credit Union.
Survivors are four sons, Robert, Orlando, Fla., Donald, East Syracuse, N.Y.,
John, Green Bay, Richard, De Pere; three daughters, Mrs. Warren (Marion) Hougard,
Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Joppe and Helen, all of Green Bay; 19 grandchildren;
eight great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie, one
daughter and two great- grandchildren.
Friends may call at Findeisen-Greiser Funeral Home from 2-9 p.m. today and until
noon Saturday, then at Grace Lutheran Church until the time of the service. The
funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Dean Kilgust
officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Cemetery. A memorial fund has been
established.
Reinhard
Miss Verena Reinhard, 1646 Westfield Ave., died Wednesday evening at a local
hospital. She graduated from Oshkosh State Teacher's College and had been a
teacher at Chapel School for 35 years.
Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Thelma Thornton and nephew, Jack Thornton, with
whom she made her home; two brothers, Maurice J. Reinhard, Rt. 1, Green Bay,
Edward C. Reinhard, Green Bay.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today. A parish wake
service will be held 8 p.m. today. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St.
Jude Church with Msgr. Peter Klauck officiating, Burial will be in Allouez
Cemetery.
Wolf
Miss Louis M. Wolf, 86, 1304 Fort Howard Ave., De Pere, died Wednesday morning
at a Green Bay hospital. She was born Jan. 26, 1894 in Lannon, Wis., and had
lived in this area for the past 30 years. She and her sister formerly operated
the Grant Street Grocery Store in De Pere. Miss Wolf was a member of St. John
Lutheran Church, De Pere.
Survivors are four nieces, Mrs. William (Jean) Martens, Green Bay, Mrs. Edward (Iva)
Lillge, Wilton, Iowa, Mrs. Marion Green, Peshtigo, Mrs. Helen Swenson, Chicago,
Ill.; three nephews, LeRoy W. Empey and James Jeffrey, both of Green Bay, Lester
Witkoske, Peshtigo.
There will be no visitation. A private funeral service will be held 11 a.m.
today at Findeisen-Greiser Funeral Home with the Rev. Chester C. Nerenhausen
officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Schoettler
Donald Schoettler, 62, Rt. 1, 3775 Roge Rd., died Thursday afternoon.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Lyndahl Funeral Home on the corner of
Lombardi Avenue and Ridge Road.
