Peranteau
Arthur (Arkie) Peranteau, 81, 1209 Grant St., died Tuesday morning at a local
hospital. He was born Sept. 16, 1898 in Minneapolis, Minn. On Aug. 2,1927, he
married the former Gertrude Ebert at St. Mary Church, Milwaukee. Mr. Peranteau
had been employed by the A.0. Smith Co. in Milwaukee for many years. He was a
member of Annunciation Parish.
Survivors are his wife, Gertrude; two sisters, Mrs. Michael (Zelia) Brewster,
Appleton, Mrs. Otto (Joyous) Rosenfeldt, Oconto; one brother, Gene, Ship Bottom,
N.J.; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today. A parish wake
service will be held at 8:15 this evening. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m.
Thursday at Annunciation Church with the Rev. David Koch officiating.
Evanson
John Evanson, 88, 1336 Gross Ave., died Tuesday morning at a local hospital
after a short illness. He was born July 17, 1891 in Fretheim, Norway. His first
wife, the former Lena Danz, preceded him in death in 1954. On July 30,1955 he
married the former Irma Schinechel Dingman. Mr. Evanson was employed as an
electrician for Beemster Electric Co. for many years until retirement in 1956.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Survivors are his wife, Irma; several brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Austin.
Friends may call at Lyndahl Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today and at First
Evangelical Lutheran Church after I p.m. Thursday. The funeral will be 2 p.m.
Thursday at the church with the Rev. Thomas Leisner officiating. Burial will be
in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Gray
Krista Gray, 9-month-old daughter of Johnnie and Barbara Gray, 408 S. Erie St.,
De Pere, died Monday afternoon at a Green Bay hospital. She was born May 5, 1979
in Green Bay.
Survivors are her parents; one brother, Todd; maternal grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Gerke, De Pere; paternal grand- parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gray,
Lompoc, Calif.; maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Vissers, De
Pere.
Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere, from 6-8 p.m. today. The funeral
will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Church with the Rev. Ron Hopfensperger
officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Gegare
Ervin H. Gegare, 57, 2116 S. Broadway, died Tuesday morning at a local hospital.
He was born March 15, 1922 in Green Bay to the late Baptist and Mae Gegare. He
served with the U.S. Coast Guard during World War 11. Mr. Gegare married the
former Dolores Barry on July 14,1945 in Green Bay. He was employed by Diana Mfg.
Co. for 15 years until retirement in 1977.
Survivors are his wife, Dolores; three sons, David, James and Robert, all of
Green Bay; five daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Elaine)
Baenen and Mrs. David (Karen) Steinfeldt, both of Green Bay, Mrs. Thomas (Judy)
Smits and Mrs. Michael (Evelyn) Hendricks, both of De Pere, Mary, at home; three
brothers, Raymond, Earl and Floyd, all of Green Bay; three sisters, Mrs. Earl
(Margaret) Edges, Mrs. Martin (Elsie) Walenski and Mrs. David (Dorothy) Hock,
all of Green Bay; 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers,
Donald and Albert.

will be held
at 8 this evening. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Nativity Catholic
Church with the Rev. Willard VandeLoo officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard
Cemetery.
Sorensen
Bernard Sorensen, 73, 623 Melrose Ave., died Sunday. There will be no
visitation. A private funeral will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has
been established for Bethel No. 32 Job's Daughters. Lyndahl Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
