Fruzen


Richard Fruzen, 53, Rt. 3, Denmark, died Thursday evening at a Green Bay hospital. He was born Aug. 3, 1926 in Chicago, Ill., to Adam and Verna (Malewski) Fruzen. He came to this area as a child, farmed in the town of Glenmore all of his life, and was employed at Green Bay Converting. Mr. Fruzen served with Company E 21st Infantry in the Southwest Pacific during World War 11. On June 6, 1953, he married the former Bernice Daul in Morrison.
Survivors are his wife, Bernice; six sons, Norbert, Green Bay, John, Donald, Joseph, Roy and Robert, all at home; four daughters, Mrs. Paul (Bonnie) Mangin, Brillion, Mrs. John (Lori) Boehm, Green Bay, Rosann and Joan, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Verna Fruzen, Green Bay; eight sisters, Mrs. George Baeten, Mrs. Louis Thyssen and Mrs. Gene Deneys, all of De Pere, Mrs. Henry VanLanen, Kewaunee, Mrs. Ruth Mareiniak, South Milwaukee, Mrs. Mildred Patterson, El Paso, Texas, Mrs. Gerry Renard, Brownsville, Ore., Mrs. Theresa Ullman, New Franken; five grandchildren; one aunt, Rose Fruzen, who made her home with him. He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers and one sister.
Friends may call at DeWane Funeral Home, Denmark, after 9 a.m. Sunday. A wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday. The funeral will be 10: 30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Church, Glenrnore, with the Rev. Patrick McMahon officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Pine Grove, with a military service.


Becker


Mark Becker, 85, Green Bay resident, died Tuesday at a local nursing home. He was born Dec. 24,1894, in Green Bay to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest and Caroline Becker. He was employed as a mechanic with the Green Bay and Western Railroad and was retired for many years. Mr. Becker was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors are one brother, Carl, Green Bay; two nieces, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Tetzlaff, Owatonna, Minn., Mrs. W. H. (Eunice) Pahl, St. Paul, Minn.; one nephew, Kenneth Becker, Roman, Georgia.
Friends may call at Lyndahl Funeral Home after 12:30 p.m. today. The funeral will be 1p.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Christman officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Cemetery.


Larsen


Helen Dayton Larsen, 92, died Friday, Feb. 15, at a nursing home in Green Bay. She resided in Oak Park, Ill., for many years; for a time in Winter Park, Fla.; and for the past four years in Green Bay. She married Charles A. Larsen on May 30, 1913 in Oak Park, 111. Mrs. Larsen was an active member of Pilgrim Congregational Church, Oak Park, Ill., the PEO and the DAR.
She is survived by two sons; five grand- children; and two great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death.
The funeral was held in Oak Park, 111. Schauer and Schumacher East Side Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.


Demeny


Terrence J. (Terry) Demeny, 45, of Rt. 3, Denmark, died Friday afternoon.
He was born Jan. 5, 1935 in Green Bay. He was a choir member of St. Mary's Church in Stark, Wis. and an usher at SS. Peter and Paul Church.
Mr. Dememy was a member of Local 158 of the Electrical Union Workers Union and A. A. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one son Jay; three step sons, Joe, Mike, and Charlie; his mother, Mrs. Jules (Margaret) Demeny; four brothers, David, Richard, Michael and Danny, all of Green Bay; seven sisters, Mrs. James (June) Paulson, Mrs. Francis (Dorothy) Oliver and Mrs. Lloyd (Bernadine) Steeno, all of Green Bay, Mrs. Robert (Peggy) Dymond, Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. John (Sue) Paider, Denmark, Mrs. A. R. (Nancy) Vieaux, of Green Bay, Mrs. Gary (Kitty) Overdier, from London, England and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jules, a brother, Jack and a granddaughter, Stacy.
Friends may call at the Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., after 4 p.m. today and again after I p.m. Sunday. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at SS. Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. Earl Schuh officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Church Cemetery, Stark, Wis.
