Vater


Mrs. Lawrence (Dorothy) Vater, 63, 805 Marshall St., died Sunday morning at a local hospital. She was born July 19, 1916 in Chicago, Ill., to the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Elfrieda Willems. She married Lawrence Vater Sept. 16, 1939 in Chicago. Mrs. Vater worked at Bake's Jewelry for many years and was a member of FISH and Martha Washington Chapter OES No. 124.
Survivors are her husband; one son, Wayne, Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Frank, New Berlin, Mrs. Richard (Sharon) Kajander, Appleton; two brothers, Roger Willems, Eugene, Ore., Mickey Willems, Sadvies, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Olive Fischer, Fort Meyers, Fla., Mrs. Shirley Gessinger, Belvedere, Ill.; 12 grand- children; one great-grandchild.
There will be po visitation. A memorial service will be held 8 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. William Lawson officiating. A memorial fund has been established. Lyndahl Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


Olsen


Ilene Olsen, 64, Rt. 2, Denmark, died Sunday morning at a local hospital. She was born Aug. 6, 1915 in the Town of New Den- mark to the late Charles and Lena Buckman Olsen. Miss Olsen was a member of the Denmark VFW Auxiliary Post No. 6705 and ALCW of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Survivors are two brothers, Earl and Norman, Rt. 2, Denmark; one aunt, Mrs. John Moksenes, Green Bay; cousins.
Friends may call at Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, after 3 p.m. today and after noon Wednesday at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Denmark, until the time of service. A VFW memorial auxiliary service will be held 8 this evening. The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Frank Tobisch officiating. Burial will be in West Danish Cemetery.


Klug


Emilie Klug, 78, 226 Borneman St., formerly of Rt. 1, Reedsville, died Sunday. She was born Oct. 6,1901 in the Township of Maple Grove to the late Gustav and Anna Abraham Klug.
Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Ida Sonnabend, Collins, Wis.; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Friends may call at Nickel Funeral Home, Morrison, after 4 p.m. today until noon Wednesday. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Wayside, with the Rev. Gerald Wittmaier officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

VanLongendon


Frank VanLangendon, 87, formerly of 2457 Riverview Drive, Howard, died Sunday evening at a local nursing home. He was born July 12, 1893 in Green Bay to the late Mr. and Mrs. John VanLangendon. Mr. VanLangendon was employed by Van's Green House for most of his life. He was a veteran of World War 1, member of the American Legion
Sullivan Wallen Post, World War I Barracks 1199 and First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are a daughter-in4aw, Mrs. Woodrow (Marie) VanLangendon, Green Bay; six grandchildren, Eugene VanLangendon, Mrs. James (Eileen) Walton, Richard VanLangendon, Mrs. James (Barbara) Sterr and Jill VanLangendon, all of Green Bay, Mrs. Daniel (Mary) Miller, Cucamonga, Calif.; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry and William VanLangendon, both of Green Bay; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home prior to the funeral. The funeral will be held 11 a.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. William Osick officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Cemetery.


Goessl
Edward H. Goessl, 82, Denmark, died Monday afternoon. He was born Feb. 14, 1898 in the Town of Gibson, Manitowoc County, to the late Charles and Bertha (Haws) Goessl. He lived in the Village of Denmark for 50
years and married Clara Duckart on Nov. 27, 1927 in Minneapolis, Minn. He worked for the Schuster Construction Co. for 28 years and retired 20 years ago. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Carpenters Union 1146.
He is survived by his wife; a son and a daughter-in4aw, Robert and Mary Ann Goessl of Green Bay; a daughter and son-in- law, Jeanette and Harold Schultz, Rt. 1, Denmark; and a daughter, Sister Joanne of the Bay Settlement Community, missioned at Denmark and Pine Grove.
Friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and the parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, with a Holy Name Society service at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in All Saints Catholic Church in Denmark with the Rev. Donald Feller officiating.
Burial in the church cemetery.
