Goessl


Edward H. Goessl, 82, Denmark, died Monday afternoon. He was born Feb. 14, 1898 in the town of Gibson, Manitowoc County, to the late Charles and Bertha (Haws) Goessl., He had resided in the village of Denmark for 50 years and married Clara Duckart on Nov. 16,1927 in Minneapolis, Minn. Mr. Goessl was employed by the Schuster Construction Co. for 28 years, and retired.20 years ago. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Carpenters Union 1146.
He is survived by his wife, Clara; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Mary Ann Goessl, Green Bay; a daughter and son-in- law, Jeanette and Harold Schultz, Rt. 1, Denmark; a daughter, Sister Joanne of the Bay Settlement Community, Mission at Denmark and Pine Grove; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Posvic, Manitowoc; nine grand- children; six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Friends may call at DeWane Funeral Home, Denmark, after 2-.30 p.m. today. A parish wake service will be held at 7 this evening with a Holy Name Society rosary 8:30 tonight. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at All Saints Catholic Church, Denmark, with the Rev. Donald Feller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.


DuFresne


Mrs. John (Alma) DuFresne, 90, 709 Alma St., died Monday at a local nursing home. She was born Jan. 15, 1890 in Manitowoc.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Morris, Green Bay; one grandchild, Mrs. Ken (Shirley) Moore, Green Bay; one great- grandchild; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, on Dec. 26, 1961, by two brothers, August and William, and four sisters, Sebina, Tillie, Amanda and Mary.
Friends may call at Lyndahl Funeral Home after I p.m. Thursday. The funeral will be 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. LeRoy Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Cemetery.


Voelker


M-s. Emil Voelker, 94, formerly of 114 N. Clay St., died Friday at a local nursing home, The former Minnie Stemper was born March 10, 1885 in St. Ann's, Wis., and lived in Green
Bay most of her life. She was a member of St. Anne's Society of the Cathedral.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Nic (Toni) Wahl, Mrs. Timothy (Jimmy) Farrell, Mrs. John (DoUy) Ploski and Mrs. Cy (Tudde) Simons, all of Green Bay; two sons, Harvey and Bud, both of Green Bay; 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil, in 1974 and by a daughter, Mrs. Francis (Gen) Shea, in 1973.
Friends may call at Schauer and Schumacher East Side Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Thursday. A wake service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
