Daumier
Mrs. Herman Daumier, 71, 1126 Emilie St., died Wednesday morning at a local
hospital. The former Dorothea Hansen was born May 25, 1908 in Green Bay to the
late John and Georgiana Hansen and was a lifelong resident.
Survivors are one daughter, Doris, at home; two sons, Michael, Green Bay, Walter
J., Delavan; six grandchildren; one brother, John Hansen, De Pere; two sisters,
Mrs. Bernice Birkenmeier and Mrs. Henry (Florence) Hogenson, both of Green Bay.
Her husband, Herman Daumler, former director of the Green Bay Symphony
Orchestra, preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Schauer and Schumacher East Side Funeral Home from 3- 9 p.m.
Friday. A wake service will be held 7:30 p.m. Friday. The funeral will be 10:30
p.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Church with the Rev. Paul DeMuth of-
ficiati.ng. Burial will be in Fort Howard Cemetery.
Brown
Michael (Mike) Brown, 89, 822 Grignon St., died Tuesday. The son of the late
Michael and Catherine Brown was born June 20, 1&90 in the town of Glenmore.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Procter and Gamble foe over 34
years. He was a member of Local No. 65 International Brotherhood of Pulp,
Sulphite and Papermill Workers.
Survivors are four nephews, George Seavil, De Pere, Elwood Stevenson, Black
Creek, John Stevenson, Appleton, Marvin Stevenson, Appleton; one niece, Mrs.
Allen (Florence) Turriff, De Pere. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva,
and by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Findeisen-Greiser Funeral Home after 11 a.m. today. The
funeral will be 3 p.m. today at the funeral home with Dr. Donald Stannard
officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Appleton.
Rice
Raymond Rice, 53, 331 N. Broadway, died Monday evening. He was born Nov. 19,1926
in Mountain to the late Adam and Loretta Rice. Mr. Rice served in the Navy
during World War 11, and was a siding applicator for All-, State.
Survivors are two sons, Gerald and Raymond; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Sharon)
VanCalster; eight grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Everett (Viola) Crossman; all
of Green Bay; a half-sister, Mrs. Esther Kahr, Oconto; a half-brother, Alfred
Peterson, Green Bay. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at O'Brien, Greiser and Coad Funeral Home from 7-9 tonight. The
funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Orian Zuberbier
officiating.
Golemgeske
Edwin A. Golemgeske, 80,1495 Hastings St., died suddenly Tuesday at a local
hospital. He was born Jan. 23, 1900 in Waukesha to the late Louis and Mathilda
Golemgeske. He married Myrtle Brecken on Dec. 27,1947 in Green Bay. Mr.
Golemgeske was a self-employed carpenter who retired in 1967. He was a member of
the East Side congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors are his wife, Myrtle; one son, Cliff, Largo, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs.
Ben (Joyce) Blaga, Fort Collins, Colo.; two brothers, Walter and Elmer, both of
Waukesha; four grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Lyndahl Funeral Home with
Pastor Eugene Figlinski officiating. Burial will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
