Schultz
Ada Schultz, 73, 400 St. Joseph St., passed away Saturday evening at a local
hospital after a short illness. She was born Dec. 10, 1906, in the Town of
Wausau. The former Ada Wolfgram, Mrs. Schultz was a resident of Green Bay for
many years. She married Emil Schultz, who preceded her in death Aug. 8, 1978.
She is survived by one son, Melvin, Long Island, N.Y.; one daughter, Marjorie
Schultz, Green Bay; five grandchildren; one great- grandchild; one sister, Mrs.
Hilda Eschenbach, Wausau; two brothers, George Wolfgram, Columbus, and Hugo
Wolfgram, Wausau; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Betty Schultz
and Mrs. Phyllis Anderson; two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Schauer and Schumacher East Side Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to
9 p.m. Tuesday and after 12 noon at the church Wednesday. The funeral will be at
2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert
Christ- man officiating. Burial in Nicolet Memorial Gardens. A memorial fund has
been established.
Van Kauwenberg
John L. Van Kauwenberg, 69, Rt. 1, Wabeno, died unexpectedly Friday evening. The
son of the late Joseph and Margaret Van Kauwenberg was born in Niagara July
8,1910. He married Frances Roels June 25, 1936. The couple farmed in the Oneida
area for many years and moved to Roberts Lake in 1977. He served as town
assessor for the Town of Hobart 16 years and was a former member of the Knights
of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, John J., Rt. 1, Crandon, and Lawrence,
Green Bay; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Orin (Johanna) Peterson,
Mrs. John (Verna) Peterson, Mrs. Edmund (Lorraine) Pasowicz, all of Rt. 4, De
Pere. He was preceded in death by one brother, Fred.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Joseph Church, Oneida,
with Rev. George Lenzner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Ryan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Hinnendael
Mrs. Anna Hinnendael, 81, 1022 Pine St., died Sunday at her home. Arrangements
are incomplete and will be announced today by Schauer mind Schumacher East Side
Funeral Home.
Ettien
Irvin F. Ettien Sr., 57, Rt. 2, Luxemburg, died Saturday evening at his home.
The son of the late Joseph and Celina Ettien was born in Dyckesville and married
the former Vernie Prevost on Jan. 14, 1941.
He was the owner and operator of Irvin Ettien Excavating Co. and he retired five
years ago. He served in the armed forces in World War 11 and he was a member of
the Luxemburg American Legion Club.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Irvin Jr.; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Jane)
Dorner, Town of Humboldt; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. George (Alvina)
Paul, Luxemburg; six step-brothers, John Ettien, Luxemburg, William and Arthur
Ettien, Green Bay, Louis Lardo, Luxemburg, Richard Lardo, Green Bay, and Elmer
Lardo, Algoma; and one step-sister, Mrs. John (Doris) Vann Ess of Green Bay. He
was preceded in death by one son, Jerry and one step-sister, Mary De Keyser.
Friends may call at Malcore Funeral Home after 2 p.m. today. A prayer service
will be held at 8:30 tonight with Rev. Kenneth De Groot officiating. An American
Legion ser- vice will take place at 7:30 tonight. The funeral will be at 11 a.m.
Tuesday at St. Louis Church in Dyckesville. Burial will be in the church
cemetery with a military graveside service.
Murnen
Frank J. Murnen, 88, 1210 Eliza St., died Thursday evening in a local hospital.
He was born in Dane County to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Murnen. Mr. Murnen
taught school and then was employed by Mirro Aluminum Company in Manitowoc for
many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the St. Mary of the
Angels Church.
Survivors include relatives, friends and neighbors.
Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., prior to the
funeral today. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home
with Rev. Valentine Myslicki officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery,
Richland Center.
Krieser
Miss Leona Krieser, 74, 1943 Oakdale Ave., died suddenly Saturday morning at
home. She was born Nov. 19,1905 in Green Bay and was a lifelong resident. She
had been a bookkeeper and hostess for Mae Dury's Supper Club for 20 years,
retiring in 1972.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys De Graves, and is survived by
cousins.

today. The wake service will be at 7:30 tonight. The funeral will be at 11 a.m.
Tuesday at St. Bernard's Church. Burial will be in Fort Howard Cemetery.
Biemeret
Henry J. Biemeret, 94, McCormick Home, died Friday evening in a local nursing
home. Born Jan. 1, 1886 in Green Bay to the late nd Josephine Biemeret, he was a
lifelong Green Bay resident. Mr. Biemeret was employed at Murphy-Cowles Estate
for over 55 years. His wife, the former Marie Wirth, preceded him in death in
1961.
Survivors include one son, Quintin, Green Bay; two grandchildren, Eileen and
Stephen, both of Green Bay, and four great- grandchildren. Two brothers, Alex
and John, preceded him in death.
There will be no visitation. Private funeral services will be held at 10 a.m.
today at Schauer & Schumacher East Side Funeral Home with Rev. Lambert
Scanlan officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Cemetery.
