Hazen


Lewis A. Hazen, 82, 110 Woodlawn Ave., Green Bay, died Sunday at the Oconto hospital after a short illness. He was born Aug. 3,1897 in Oconto and married the former Margaret Jackson. Mr. Hazen operated Bowman Dairy in Oconto before moving to Green Bay where he was employed by Acme Jobbing Co. later he owned and operated a vending machine route in Brown, Oconto and Marinette counties.
Survivors are three sisters, Miss Marie Hazen, Oconto, Sister M. Pauline Hazen, St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Willard (Lillian) LaCombe, Waterford; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife on April 25, 1971.
Friends may call at Gallagher-Pinkart Funeral Home, Oconto, after 4 p.m. today. A wake service will be held 8 this evening. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Church, Oconto, with the Rev. Herbert Silko officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Oconto.


Hinnendael


Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Hinnendael, 81, 1022 Pine St., died unexpectedly Sunday at home. The former Anna Lamal was born Jan. 8,1899 in the Town of Humboldt and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of St. Ann Society of the Cathedral.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Bernice) Brzezinski, Krakow; one son, James, Green Bay; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles and James, Lamal, both of Green Bay; two sisters, Mrs. Mary DeGreef, De Pere, Mrs. Julia Pauls, Green Bay. She was preceded in death by her husband in December 1952 and by two brothers, John and Fred Lamal.
Friends may call at Schauer and Schumacher East Side Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today. A parish wake service will be held 7 this evening. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Cathedral with the Rev. Dennis Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Cemetery.


Hock


Jack J. Hock, 73, 2989 Pine Tree Road, Oneida, died Monday evening. Lyndahl Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, which will be announced later.


Paider


Mrs. Daniel (Lorraine) Paider, 53, 1412 Grignon St., died Sunday evening at a local hospital. She was born Aug. 8, 1926 in Bay Settlement to the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kuipers. She married Mr. Paider in 1948 at St. Mary of the Angels Church. Mrs. Paider was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and the St. Elizabeth Altar Society of St. Mary of the Angels Church.
Survivors are her husband, Daniel; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Ann) Caflisch, Greenleaf, Carol, Green Bay; four sons, Paul, Minneapolis, Minn., Wayne and Marvin, both of Green Bay, David, at home; two grand- children, Carl and Andrea Caflisch; one brother, Sylvester Kuipers, Green Bay; four sisters, Mrs. Leona Zehren and Mrs. Melva Konshak, both of Green Bay, Mrs. Marie Deicher, Texas, Mrs. Frances Krawczyk, Pulaski.
Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home from 2-7:30 p.m. Wednesday. A Third Order and St. Elizabeth Altar Society prayer service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral will be 8 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Angels Church with the Rev. Valentine Myslicki officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.

Thomas


Francis W. Thomas, 82, Gridley, Calif., died Friday, following a short illness. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Baptist Thomas was born in Green Bay on Feb. 13,1897. On March 4, 1921, he married the former Jeanette LaTour. She preceded him in death on March 17,1971. He married Alice Ruggs on Aug. 15, 1972. Mr. Thomas served in World War I with the Red Arrow Division, Battery B. A resident of Green Bay most of his life, he owned and operated Thomas Auto Repair until his retirement in 1954. Since 1977, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas have spent their winters in California and summers in Wisconsin. Mr. Thomas was a member of the AARP Lakewood Chapter, the World War I Veterans, Red Arrow Division Barracks 1199 of Green Bay and the American Legion Post 11 of Green Bay. He also won many championships and trophies as a Pro bowler and skeet shooter, including a state skeet shooting championship in 1941.
Survivors are his wife, Alice; three step- daughters, Betty Shampeau, Gridley Calif., Nona Wagner, Milwaukee, Sheila Shaw, Lakewood; one sister, Theresa Krupp, Comstock, Mich.; one brother, Louis, Green Bay; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Helen Thomas, Green Bay; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Malcore Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday and on Thursday until the time of service. A Veterans of World War I memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday. A rosary will be held 8 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral with the Rev. Dennis Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Cemetery.
