  Merry Wedding Bells in Pioneer Days. were more than three thousand persons present A parade composed of seventy-three wagons, each loaded with four to thirty individuals, with banners flying," brought the Sabbath Schools and citizens of Knoxville Painted Post and Campbell, preceded by the Painted Post Band." Refreshments were served free at tables in the pine grove on the hill-side, immediately back of the churches.
