Sallie may be the same person as Sara J. Derr who appeared in TN 1860 census as being 10 years old. In the TX 1880 census, Sallie appears as being 29, and she is referred to as Sallie Orr.
It seems that she married Orr sometime before 1880, and he was deceased or divorced by 1880 TX census. Then, at some point after the death of her sister Nannie on August 3, 1883, she married William M. Bassinger to become the mother of Sam Bassinger, born around 1890.
In Philip K. Derr's will, he notes "Sarah J. Bassinger, wife of W.M. Bassinger"
