John Edward Johnson was born in Liverpool, Queens Co., N.S. and baptized in

Trinity Anglican Church, Liverpool, N.S. He died in Scituate, RI.

He was a blacksmith at Molega Mines, Queens County, N.S. and went to the U.S.

between 1881 and 1884. His father was John E. Johnson Sr. who married Lydia Mouzer.

Catherine died in Abington, Connecticut.
