In loving memory of 2nd Lieut. ALBERT  VICTOR  WILKES 1/5  Notts/Derby Regiment.

Who died for King & Country near Bethune 24 May 1918 aged 21.

Tablet erected by parents.

On the 2nd day of May in the year of Our Lord 1616 MR  WILLIAM  PARKER

  Merchant Taylor in London  deceased the day & year above said

Did give and bestow to Great Bloxwich

£20 yearly forever to maintain a Minister to Serve the Cure in the said Chaple

And to teach the Children there freely.

Also he gave £50 to repair the said Chaple and £20 to repair the Chaple House

And £50 to amend the Highway there.

 

 

In Memory of the Rev. JOHN  BAYLIE  39years Incumbent of Bloxwich.

Died 6 September 1865  aged 72

And lies beneath the Chancel of this Church.

Only son of John & Mary died 30 March 1871  aged 27 years.

  

 

In Loving Memory of HUGH  RUSSELL  SOMERVILLE

Died of Wounds 21 November 1916  aged 31 years

Interred in Varennes Cemetery France.
