LAST WILL & TESTAMENT OF THOMAS WELLER

This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas WELLER of the
White Hart Inn 24 Great Tindal Street Birmingham in the County of
Warwick Beer House Keeper. I give devise and bequeath all my real
and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever at the time of my decease to my dear
wife Sarah Weller for her own sole use and benefit
during her life and at the time of her decease I hereby direct that all my said real
and personal estate shall be sold (with the exception of the
following articles which I gave and bequeath as follows namely the
Portraits of myself and wife and the testimonial presented to me and any one article
she may choose to my daughter Julia WELLER. The pieces of Needlework in Gilt Frames
to my wife's daughter Ellen Maria
BEECHAM) and after deducting all expenses incidental to the sale thereof that the
proceeds of such sale shall be equally divided between
my four children Elizabeth SMITH Emma JENKINS Louisa FARREL
and Julia WELLER or their surviving respective children and one
daughter of my said wife's namely the said Ellen Maria BEECHAM or her surviving
children and I hereby revoke any other Will by me at any time heretofore made and
declare this to be my own last true Will and
Testament and i hereby appoint my said Wife and George James
FULFORD of Birchfield Road Handsworth in the County of Stafford
Maltster as Executrix and Executor of this my Will Dated this twenty
eighth day of December 1883

of us who at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed
our names as witnesses.

Proved at Birmingham on the 12th day of April 1889 by the Oath of Sarah Weller Widow
the Relict the one of the Executors to whom Administration was granted George James
Fulford the other Executor having renounced. The Testator Thomas weller was late of
the White Hart Inn 24 Great Tindal Street Birmingham in the County of Warwick Beer
Retailer and died on the 9th day of March 1889 at the White Hart Inn aforesaid.

Notes: The widow was Sarah SIMPSON, b. abt 1832 in Evesham, Worcs, daughter of
William Simpson, born in Badsey, Worcs.
She had married Thomas Weller 4 Dec 1869, having previously been married to
____ CARTER, then to Peter FARRELL. Thomas WELLER, born about 1818 in Handsworth,
Staffs, had previously been married to Ann REYNELL.
