Obituary of Floyd Earl Pingelton (1904-1958)

PANHANDLE, June 23 (Special) -- Funeral services for Floyd Earl Pingelton, 54, who was killed in a car wreck near Claude Sunday afternoon, will be conducted in the Panhandle First Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The Rev. James Carter, minister, will conduct the memorial services.

Interment will be in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Poston Funeral Home, Panhandle.

Pingelton was not married.

During 1943, he operated a cafe in Panhandle, afterwards moving to Arkansas and then moved to Dallas and on to Plainview where he had been the past 22 months.

Four weeks ago he moved from Plainview to Panhandle where he had worked in the harvest.

He is survived by two brothers, C. A. Pingelton of Panhandle, and Leon Pingelton of El Paso, and a sister, Mrs. Wilma Pickett, Panhandle.
