Chilton A. Osborn
GAR Post # 67
A second Lawrence County GAR Post was located in Blaine, KY - the
Chilton A. Osborn GAR Post # 67, named in honor of 1. Lt. Chilton
A. Osborn, 14th KY Infantry, who was wounded in action at Kolb's
Farm, Georgia, June 22, 1864 and taken prisoner. Lt. Osborne
later died in captivity in South Carolina. This post was still
active in 1892 when a reunion was held in Blaine which was well
attended. No membership list exists at this time.
