John Cochran, Jr.Obituary
This morning the end came, not unexpectedly, to Capt. John Cochran, of this city. He was the eldest son of J.W. Cochran and for many years was associated with his father and brother in the general insurance business. At the outbreak of the Civil War, he enlisted in his uncle's, Col. John C. Cochran, regiment, the l4th Kentucky U.S.I.
