Margaret married Andrew USHER, son of James USHER of Toftfield and Margaret GRIEVE, on 31 Dec 1806 in Edinburgh.1 (Andrew USHER was born circa 1 Apr 1782 at Toftfield, Darnick, Roxburgh, christened on 7 Apr 1782 in Darnick, Roxburgh,9 10 11 died on 17 Aug 1855 in Edinburgh 4 12 13 and was buried in East Preston Cemetery, Edinburgh 4.). The cause of his death was Diseased Prostate Bladder for 2 years; but in a severe form for 2 months as certified by Alexander ?, Physician who saw deceased 16th August..5
