Notes for INEZ VAUGHN:

Inez's mother, Ida, didn't cry when Inez died. She just couldn't. One day when everyone was out in the fields Ida was heard screaming. They all rushed to the house and found Ida crying because she found some soap that Inez had made just before she died and had left her fingerprints on it. (This story told to me by Addie Greer Lackey, Inez's daughter)

Inez was at least 1/2 German. Her mother Ida was full German and her father was part German.
