Abraham Loren Van Epps

(1834-1908)

Son of Abram T. Van Eps and Lucinda Shefield

He moved from Genesee County, NY as a boy to Deerfield County, PA where he was a farmer and local preacher. He served with Company F in the 145th P.V.I. in the Civil War.

Amanda Jones (1831-1909) was the dau. of Isaac or Isaiah Jones and Susan Buchanan. She was first married to Adolphus Crippen and had 8 children with him. She later married Abraham Loren Van Epps in 1898.

Alice married Henry Gunn in 1880

She had one daughter, Anna, in 1884.

Alice Van Epps later married Samuel Black and had 2 more children, Hazel and Carl.
