Letter from Edward A. Pratt, shareholder, to Georgia K. Mead, March 23, 1914:

Greenfield Mass Mar 23 1914
Dear Mrs. Mead
I wrote you a long time ago and the letter must have been lost. In regard to the land I do not want Chas Knapp to have it but I do not feel as though I could put much money into it. However if you have a copy of the deed or deed itself and present it to the judge I can see no reason why he should get control of it at all. As near as I can make out I have six 6 shares and I will sell for $30. all my interest. Whatever number of shares I may have now my father gave me one share and had me made a trustee in order to make the matter legal and that is where Knapp has his hold as there has to be five trustees. So you will have to have that number to hold the land there. Knapp has in all probability had some one there to tell him about it. You must have that done before the trial.
If anyone wants my shares send at once and I will send a bill of sale right back so you can be prepared for the trial. Am sorry you did not get my letter before.
Yours in Haste
Edward A. Pratt

Letter from Mrs. A. C. Dickinson, shareholder, March 27, 1914:

Chicago March 27 - 1914
To all whom it may concern: -
As a share-holder of the Association, holding the ten acres of land, situated at Limona and given to the association by Judge Knapp for Educational purposes, I most emphatically protest against its being given up to any private party, but wish it to be held in ???? by the Association, for the purpose that Judge Knapp intended it to be used.
Respectively
Mrs. A. C. Dickinson

Letter from Mrs. A. C. Dickinson, shareholder, October 17, 1914:

(*note: there is a handwritten duplicate of this letter in the same papers.)

5824 Harper Ave. Chicago, Ills.
Oct. 17 - 1914
This certifies that I have this day sold to W. J. Lewis seven (7) shares of stock in the Limona Academy of Arts Letters and Sciences of Limona Florida, and I hereby acknowledge the receipt of seven dollars ($7.00) in payment of same.
Mrs. A. C. Dickinson
