The Henry Sheldon Museum serves as the collecting institution for Middlebury
history as well as Addison County history. The collection housed in the
1829 Judd-Harris House highlights the region's early settlers and important
military, industrial and agricultural past. The Research Center contains
thousands of manuscripts, photographs and ephemera. An active program of
workshops, lectures, events and other activities is offered throughout
the year. Contact Person: Annie Perkins. Hours and Admission: Museum 10-5:00
Mon-Sat. year round. Research center 1 - 5:00 Tues-Fri. year round.
