The building that houses the Society's Museum has a history of its
own. Built in 1807, the original town hall, a one room school, and the
casket showroom for the Hayes-Rich Funeral Home is now home to artifacts
of Fairfax's history. Artifacts include tools, clothing, photos and much
more. Contact Person: Michael R. Cain, President. Hours and Admission:
July and August, Sundays 2-4pm. Also, last two Sundays in September and
first two Sundays in October, 2-4pm or by appointment. Admission free.
