The museum building was originally the Universalist Church, built in
1836, and was remodeled and used as an Odd Fellows hall until 1979. Exhibits
include items from the Universalist church in use prior to 1929, Modern
Woodmen of America ritualistic pieces, Odd Fellow and Rebekah memorabilia,
postcard display of early views of Williamstown, furniture, clothing, books,
documents, photographs, paintings, agricultural tools, household items,
and town memorabilia from 1790 to the present. Contact Person: Adam Boyce,
President. Hours and Admission: Museum open May - Oct, first Saturday,
1-4 p.m., on special occasions, and by appointment. Please call for current
schedule. Free. The Society holds meetings and programs on the first Tuesday
of each month, May - Oct.; call for a program list. Upstairs not accessible
to the disabled.
