One of the largest studios in the UK during the late 19th century and some will occur in most family albums - so well worth researching.


The only well dated studios are those by Michael Pritchard in his excellent A Directory of London Photographers 1841 - 1908

The company�s Forest Hill works were described in the P.N. 19 November 1880, pp. 553-554.


The firm seems to have been started in London perhaps in the 1860s and had covered the whole country by 1888.
