Date of death is from Pedigree Resource File, Familysearch.org. But 1880 census shows Aretas Hooker correct age to have been born in 1810 living, in Sturbridge - with wife Eliza b about 1815. Ditto 1850 census.

Birth from Sturbridge Town Records. - has 28 Nov 1815. Marriage is also from Sturbridge town records. Either there is a mistake or this is not the Esther McKinstry who married Aretas Hooker.
McKinstry genealogical article has six children, same six children Russ McKinstry has listed; no birth date for Esther. Russ McKinstry has her born 28 Nov 1815. Which is three months after her parents married - still, not impossible. Nevertheless, she cannot have been born in 1825 and married in 1834. It must be a transcription error.
