I do not know where the birth information nor the name of a wife come from - besides Ancestral File.
John Adams is a proven brother of Henry Adams. He was the eldest son of their father John - who was born in 1555. Ancestral File supplied the father with a son who was his twin brother!
John Adams Sr made out a will in a hurry three days before he was buried, and did not live to sign it nor have it witnessed. In it he specified that his son John got his inheritance only if in four years from the date of his will he was living with his children and caring for them, and that relatives and not John would oversee their property and expenditures. This was in 1603/4. A wife was not living at that time and my sources say her name is not known. The executor was Henry who did not press the will. But in due time all of the heirs of this will were called before a court, the will was produced, and a guardian for the children who benefitted from John Sr's will was appointed, though this appears to have included all children named in the will. John Jr died in 1609, and his widow and Henry were his executors under his will. Then everyone had to appear in court again, if that wasn't the one time they appeared in court.
My sources have no other proven children of John Sr though they may have existed. John and Henry are known as John Sr's children only on account of the wills and estates of John Sr and John Jr. Younger brothers and sisters would not necessarily have been mentioned at all, apparently since the chief concern of this dying man was apparently to protect the interests of John's children.

My sources give her as a second Katherine daughter of John. Yet it seems from both wills and handling of both estates that John didn't even have a wife in or after 1604, unless he remarried after 1604 and she had already died by 1609. Possibly my sources have information that the first Katherine had died; if so I would need to see proof that the one who died was this John's daughter.
