Johnson Genealogy says that Abigail's identity is unknown even though a date of birth is cited from church records (Sharon church records) for her - but it is different from that of Abigail Stanisfield May the second wife of his father Nathaniel.

Abigail married Nathaniel JOHNSON, son of Capt. Humphrey JOHNSON and Eleanor (Ellen) CHENEY. (Nathaniel JOHNSON was born in 1666 in Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts, christened in 1666 in Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts and died on 4 May 1755 in Windham, Windham, Connecticut.)
