In her will dated Mar. 31, 1572/3 and proved May 5, 1573, she calls herself 'Johan Browne late the wife of Willm Browne decessed,' and names as sons Edmund, John and Laurence, and as daughters Margaret, Annis and Alice.

Joan married William BROWN. (William BROWN was born about 1505 and was buried on 25 Jan 1565-25 Jan 1566 in Sawbridgeworth, Hertsfordshire, England.)
