Harrison Bond McKINSTRY

  General Notes:

1930 census - Harry B McKinstry was a mail carrier for the Government. In 1920 he was a clerk for the Post Office.

Josephine Ann (Jo Ann) was not counted in the family on the 1930 census.

In 1920, Percy Maxwell, brother of Vida Maxwell, lived next door to them.

On an earlier version I had a second wife for Philip named Bennett, and his son, Russell, told me there was not a second marriage. His mother's middle name was Bennett, and on one of my family group sheets, the name was written in such a way that it looked like the name of a second wife.

Harrison married Davida (Vida) Bennett MAXWELL, daughter of John David MAXWELL and Margaret (Maggie) Amelia MONAHAN, on 28 Feb 1913 in St. George, New Brunswick, Canada. (Davida (Vida) Bennett MAXWELL was born on 14 Dec 1889 in St. George, N.B., Canada and died on 17 Aug 1974 in Southbridge, Massachusetts.)

I also have this marriage having occurred in Oxford, Massachusetts. Russ McKinstry's family group sheets say it was in New Brunswick, in the location where her family actually lived.
