Here is a stray piece of Dehart family from the Mormon Ancestral
     File. I was interested because it contained a John B. Dehart. B 
     probably stood for Bechtel or Briner. There are quite a number
     of descendants of George W. Dehart on the dehart list at onelist.com.
     Considerably more than that below is known about the family. It is
     not known who George W. was.  From the way the name and ones like it
     were recorded, it looks not unlikely that he was actually George
     Dechert; they sometimes were called Dehert or Dehart; they were
     an immigrant family, form I think Germany, who settled in the Oley
     Valley about the mid 18th century, they had a son named George who
     would have been about the right age.
