General:
Robert came from Wiltshire, England, probably with his mother, Elizabeth, who had married a second time Francis Hickman and came to Pennsylvania before 1685. She was the mother of atleast four Chamberlain children; Elizabeth, married in England Richard Ridgeway, ancestor of Rdigeway family of Pennylvania and New Jersey; all four children seem to have come to Pennsylvania.
She was also the mother of thre Hickman children.
Robert Chamberlan married Mary before 1691 and settled in Concord township, where he bought 100 acres of land 9-27-1686. He also owned land in Aston township.
